I began to pay from the beginning of the gambling

up to the time that No.89 went to England.

It was paid to Ting and then A Yi who were sent

by Tang Chung to fetch it. I cannot remember for how many months I

paid him.

I ceased to pay when the Inspector went home to

England, and I have not paid any money for him since.

I do not remember telling the Captain Superintendent of Police what the name of No.89 was.
